In 1990 finishing college with a degree in auto body technology, Dan worked in town for three years at a local shop before venturing back to help on the family farm in 1993. From then everything changed. Dan started taking on side jobs and getting more education in the fields of welding and machine tool. This in turn led to working late nights in the farm shop, building a client base.
In 1999 the decision was made to build a new facility. Schlueter Repair & Specialties was started as a combination shop that provided auto body and painting along with welding and machining.
The business has been growing since day one and has evolved more into a fabricating and machining business to satisfy its growing customer base.
